A Concert for Valentine’s Day full of brooding musical romanticism, fabled love, passion and heartbreak featuring internationally acclaimed Brazilian violinist Guido Sant’Anna (winner of the Fritz Kreisler International Competition) performing Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto.

Fresh from his success as the youngest ever winner of the Kreisler competition, Guido presents Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto, one of the greatest romantic violin concertos ever written. Lighting sparks of orchestral virtuosity, Bath Philharmonia perform Manuel De Falla’s dizzying and passionate Ritual Fire Dance alongside Zoltán Kodály’s Romanian folk tune inspired Dances of Galánta. Ayanna Witter-Johnson’s Blush explores the ups and downs of young love as a woman hopes to meet her first crush at the dance hall.
