Zoë and Jasmine launched Roswell after a chance meeting through a mutual friend led to them being forced to sing together in the very public setting of Ely Market Square.

The musical chemistry was instantaneous and they’ve been singing and writing songs together ever since.

Roswell’s multi-instrumental harmony-infused sound has been likened to First Aid Kit, Fleetwood Mac and the Indigo Girls. Winning Purbeck Rising in their first year as a band, Roswell’s first release earned the title of Fatea EP of the Year, and the duo went on to be named winners of the Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Competition.

In 2024, fresh from tours in Germany and France, and an appearance at Costa Festival Ibiza, Roswell is currently working on their debut album with acclaimed producers and songwriters The Dunwells, which features their signature candid songwriting on themes from mental health and sibling love to real-life activist adventures at sea.

Roswell has supported artists including Catherine McGrath, John Smith and Dea Matrona, and played festivals from Cambridge and Shrewsbury Folk Festivals to the Fête de la musique Genève and showcased at MiCannes, France.

The tour for their second EP ‘Come Home’ included sold-out shows at the Green Note in London, The Stables in Milton Keynes and The Shelley Theatre in Bournemouth.
