Get ready for a Saturday like no other as Battle of the Bands kicks off at Bath Racecourse on Saturday 12th September. This brand-new event combines an afternoon of thrilling live horse racing with an evening of incredible live music, as bands go head-to-head to win over the crowd.

The Ultimate Day Out
Start the day trackside with a full card of flat racing, cheering your favourites home from the grandstand or right by the rails. The atmosphere will be electric as the runners thunder past the winning post — the perfect sporting entertainment for a weekend in Somerset.

Once the racing finishes, the party continues with live music on stage. Battle of the Bands – Day 1 will feature a line-up of talented local and regional acts, each bringing their own sound and energy. You’ll get to enjoy back-to-back performances and vote for your favourite, helping decide who makes it through to Day 2!

Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.

Terms and Conditions

In the event of any fixture being abandoned or held behind closed doors the refund policy is set out below:

Abandonment before completion of the first race- we will send you an email offering you credit or a refund for the abandonment fixture. If you do not reply to such email within 30 days, we will issue a non-refundable, non-exchangeable credit note.
Abandonment before completion of the third race- 50% refund.
Abandonment thereafter- no refund.
Please note that no refund of any booking fee will be made under any circumstance.
