Bath Phil & Hyeyoon Park
The Forum
MENUA whirlwind journey across a magical orchestral landscape strewn with memorable melodies, passionate harmonies and phantasmagorical textures. Bath Philharmonia performs an array of hypnotic tunes and textures, sometimes sensual and sometimes spine-tingling including Saint–Saëns’ Dance Macabre and excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen Suites.
This concert features Hyeyoon Park, internationally acclaimed virtuoso violinist, performing Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto, a love story in sound and one of the most popular and beautiful violin concertos ever written.
Warming our hearts through this programme are composers George Bizet, Max Bruch, Jocelyn Pook and Camille Saint–Saëns.
