James Pearson and friends present 125 years of Jazz Piano

World-class musicians bring to life the incredible music and stories behind the evolution of jazz piano.

Pianist, composer and Artistic Director at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, James Pearson, brings to life the incredible music and stories behind the evolution of jazz piano music - from Ragtime and Stride through to Boogie Woogie and Big Band and beyond.

James and his trio of world-class musicians take us on a whistle-stop tour through 125 years of jazz piano greats. Featuring a sparkling collection of numbers celebrating the music from the likes of Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Art Tatum, George Shearing, Dave Brubeck, Oscar Peterson and many more.  This is a show full of anecdotes, wit, and virtuosic piano playing.
