A work of pure farcical genius, this play sees aspiring artist Brindsley trying desperately to impress his potential father in law, Colonel Melkett as well as famous art collector Georg Bamberger by throwing a drinks party.  Unfortunately he’s ‘borrowed’ some very expensive antique furniture from his neighbour without permission. Throw in a power cut and we watch (don’t worry the audience sees everything!) as the neighbour returns unexpectedly, as does Brindsley’s former mistress and chaos ensues with comedic timing that is pin sharp and results that are hilarious.  A play that any fans of Peter Sellers’ Inspector Clouseau will love.
