Fauré Requiem and choral favourites

Bath Cantata Group presents an evening of choral favourites in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary’s, Bathwick on Saturday, 16 March.

Gabriel Fauré’s sublime Requiem tops the bill along with his Cantique de Jean Racine. Other works include Bruckner’s motets Locus iste, Os justi and Christus factus est, Casals’ O vos omnes and Brahms’ Geistliches Lied.

With wonderful soloists Octavia Lewis, soprano and Frederick Long, baritone accompanied by David Bednall, organist all directed by Neil Moore this guarantees a delightful evening’s entertainment.
