For over 400 years, The Hall Estate has been a place of vision and transformation, home to the Hall family and later the Moulton family, whose influence helped shape Britain’s woollen, rubber, and automotive industries.

Among them were Stephen Moulton, the pioneering industrialist who brought vulcanised rubber to Bradford on Avon, transforming the town into a centre of innovation, and his grandson Dr Alex Moulton, the celebrated engineer whose groundbreaking work reshaped modern automotive and bicycle engineering, from the iconic Moulton Bicycle to the revolutionary rubber suspension system developed for the Mini.

Each guided tour directly supports the Alex Moulton Charitable Trust, with proceeds contributing to the preservation and restoration of The Hall Estate, ensuring this remarkable historic building can be protected and shared for generations to come.

Please note: Your ticket also includes access to seven acres of private grounds, allowing time to enjoy the wider estate.
