MF6 Nash Ensemble
A unique ensemble at the heart of British music making
Assembly Rooms
MENUAlways an audience favourite in Bath, the Nash Ensemble needs no introduction.
This year’s programme is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, opening with two well-loved Mozart works, the Quintet in E flat major K 407 for horn and strings and his String Quintet No 5 in D major K 593. Mendelssohn’s charming Song without Words Op 109 for cello and piano precedes a performance of Schubert’s evergreen ‘Trout’ Quintet. This is a delightful programme which illustrates precisely why The Sunday Times praises The Nash as ‘a unique ensemble at the heart of British music making’.
