Patrons Pre Show Drinks (Symphony of Sorrowful Songs)

Please note updated Venue - We’re so looking forward to having you join us on Wednesday 8th December, ahead of the Sorrowful Songs event at the Bath Abbey.

With the pandemic still with us, Bath Abbey, Bath Festivals and the Paraorchestra have been working together, following national guidelines as well as our own additional measures to ensure the venue remains as safe as possible for all.  This has led to creating more space for the orchestra, who will be using more of the new spaces backstage and our decision to move the Pre-Show Drinks.

The new venue for the drinks is now the Drawing Room within the Roman Baths, just a stone’s throw from the original location at the Abbey. You can gain access to this room through the main entrance of the Roman Baths, our staff and volunteers will be on hand to escort you and we look forward to sharing mulled wine and mince pies with you there.

Please also note the following:

• For you safety we’re asking all our attendees to take a Lateral Flow test before arriving at the event.
• We are encouraging the use of masks when people are not eating or drinking.
• We would ask that people do not attend if they are displaying any symptoms of COVID or feel unwell.
• There will be hand sanitising points on arrival and all staff and volunteers will do a Lateral Flow beforehand and will wear masks throughout.

Join us for mulled wine and mince pies and a chance to meet Jonathan Harper CEO and Executive Producer of the Paraorchestra before they perform. A perfect opportunity to socialise and get in the spirit for the festive season. Please note that you are most welcome to join us for the Patrons drinks even if not attending the Paraorchestra event.
