A concert of choral music from the 15th century to the present day, all of which are constructed in strict canon form.

It includes such favourites as Jean Mouton’s Nesciens mater, Thomas Tallis’ Misereri nostri and Josquin des Prez’s Inviolata. As well as other music by Brahms, Guerrero and Judith Wear, we are also featuring the wonderful Bright Mass with Canons by the young American composer Nico Muhly.
