Comedian and author Ben Miller talks about the inspiration behind his new novel A Very Dangerous Pursuit.

Richard Hannay, hero of John Buchan's spy classic The Thirty-Nine Steps is reimagined in a  new rip-roaring story of international intrigue, enchantresses and master criminals from the streets of Constantinople to the decks of the Titanic. Ben will be talking about his love of the cosy crime genre and his inspirations for his first adult novel, dubbed as ‘007 meets Tintin.’.

Ben Miller is a bestselling author, actor and director. He has written several blockbuster books for children, including The Day I Fell Into a Fairytale and Once Upon a Legend.

Stephanie Wessell is a story consultant, producer, director and trainer, specialising in documentary. She has made programmes for major broadcasters and streamers, and is a BAFTA Elevate member.
