Wyl Menmuir is a novelist, editor and literary consultant based in Cornwall. He is the author of the Man-Booker nominated novel and Observer Best Fiction of the year pick, The Many, and Fox Fires. His two previous non-fiction books, The Draw of the Sea and The Heart of the Woods have won the Holyer an Gof Award, the Roger Deakin Award and the 2025 Award for Excellence by the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild.

 

Paul Venables is a Jungian Psychoanalyst in private practice and a member of the Guild of Analytical Psychologists. He gives talks and workshops around the UK and in Australia on the interface between Jungian Psychology and the environment and co devised and co-facilitated a module on the Ecological Self for the Bath Centre of Psychotherapy. He is currently working on a book based on his experience of the Green Man, and how the power of the symbolic can transform both personal and collective attitudes. Paul worked as an actor for twenty five years on stage, television and radio.
