BF2 Michala Petri & Mahan Esfahani

The Guildhall, High Street, Bath

£12.00 - £23.00

The celebrated Danish recorder player Michala Petri and the flamboyant Iranian-born harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani, persuasive ambassadors for their instruments, have in recent years formed a predictably dynamic duo on disc and in concert. In this lunchtime recital in the Guildhall, they perform sonatas by Handel, Telemann and Bach, an adaptation of Bach’s solo flute Partita, a selection of harpsichord pieces by Rameau, and one of the sonatas that Nicolas Chédeville published in Paris in 1737 under the title of Il pastor fido and the name of Antonio Vivaldi.
