Acis – Jeremy Budd tenor

Harry Christophers and his singers and players of The Sixteen are tried and trusted interpreters of the music of the Baroque period. On this visit to Bath, they bring us Handel’s much-loved pastoral masque Acis and Galatea, in its intimate original version, written in 1718 for the composer’s patron James Brydges, later Duke of Chandos, at Cannons, his mansion to the north of London.
