The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, resident at the Southbank Centre and associate orchestra of the Glyndebourne Festival, has for three decades been a strong and innovative force in the field of early music. In this concert, with a team of well-known soloists, it performs some of Bach’s finest orchestral works: two of the colourful Suites, a tuneful Sinfonia, a familiar Violin Concerto, and the sublime Concerto for two violins.

This concert is followed by the Bath Bachfest Supper at Woods Restaurant

Two-course supper including wine & coffee and donation to Bath Bachfest: £50 per person (this does not include a concert ticket)

Concert supported by The A M Purnell Charitable Trust.
