“Lucy Crowe… brings down the house with a soprano artistry beyond compare” enthused The Independent. And, with the outstanding accompanist Anna Tilbrook, she promises to in this delightful programme celebrating women – whether as subject or composer. From Debussy’s muse Madame Vasnier to Cole Porter’s Miss Otis, via Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann and the twentieth century English actress and composer Madeleine Dring, this concert pays homage to women in music.
This concert will be presented from the stage by writer and broadcaster Katy Hamilton, and will include a conversation with the artists after the concert.
Supported in memory of Ann-Marie Dyas, founder of The Fine Cheese Co.
