Rutter Requiem

Bath Cantata Group presents an evening of reflection in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary’s, Bathwick, with John Rutter’s Requiem, Louis Vierne’s Symphony No. 4 and Messe Solennelle. 

The works, from either end of the twentieth century, differ in style, with the Vierne at times full of exuberance in the Gloria and Hosanna in excelsis, while the Rutter beautifully complements this with one of his greatest works, his Requiem. 

Featuring Philippa Baker (Soprano) David Bednall (organist) and directed by Music Director Neil Moore, this concert promises to be rather special.
