The Bath Archaeo-Heritage Film Festival 2025

From The Madness of King George to Bridgerton's Queen Charlotte, the history of Georgian medicine has made audiences squirm in many a film and TV show.

Take a look back at the real history of Georgian medicine in Bath with Dr Roger Rolls, author of 'Diseased, Douched and Doctored: Thermal Springs, Spa Doctors and Rheumatic Diseases'.

This event is part of the Bath Archaeo-Heritage Film Festival, a five-day celebration of archaeology and heritage in cinema. Find out more at BAHfilmfestival.co.uk
