Aged just 17, Canadian pianist Ryan Wang captivated audiences worldwide when he won BBC Young Musician 2024.   His beautifully judged programme includes some of Schubert’s most beautiful music - wistful, sparkling and emotional.   Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition was originally a piano showpiece, and its 10 movements draw an extraordinary variety of musical pictures ranging from ‘The Old Castle’ to the ‘Catacombs’,  and from ‘The Market at Limoges’ via the ‘Hut on Hen’s Legs’ to the finale at the ‘Great Gate of Kiev’.

Schubert: Impromptus D 899
Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition

We are delighted to be joining forces with the St Andrew's School for the Coffee and Cake concerts.  This is the local school to St Swithin's Church.
The PTA will be providing a delicious variety of cakes and sweet treats for these concerts and in return the Bath Festival will be making a donation to the school for much needed music instruments. We are thrilled to be a part of this community partnership.
