Join us for this special in-conversation event with bestselling local thriller writer, Claire Douglas.

She’ll be talking about her latest book, The New Neighbours.

Claire Douglas worked as a journalist for fifteen years, but had dreamed of being a novelist since the age of seven. She finally got her wish after winning the Marie Claire Debut Novel Award with her first novel, The Sisters. She is a Sunday Times bestseller and a frequent Richard & Judy Book Club pick. Her books have sold nearly two million copies in the UK alone. She lives in Bath with her husband and two children.

About The New Neighbours

You know your neighbours are plotting a crime but nobody believes you... Dive into the gripping new thriller from The Sunday Times No.1 bestseller When Lena helps her teenage son with his media studies project, she doesn’t expect a boom-microphone to pick up a conversation between her neighbours, the Morgans. And she’s certain they are planning a crime. Her family and friends tell her that she must have misheard. After all, the Morgans are an upstanding couple in their early sixties. Yet Lena can’t stop thinking about it. Because what if she hasn’t misheard? What if she can prevent it? And in doing so, it might help ease her conscience about her own dark past...
