Anyone Can Be a Podcaster!

Got a story to tell and ready to share it with the world?

If you’re inspired by the Curious Minds Festival join us at Emerge Studio for a hands-on workshop to get started with Podcasting. Whether it’s a tale that makes people laugh, an idea that sparks curiosity, or a perspective that deserves to be heard, podcasting is the perfect way to connect with others. Podcasts allow you to create authentic, intimate content—your way, your style, and on your terms.

Anyone Can Be a Podcaster! is a fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly podcasting workshop that will empower you to tell your story. No prior experience required!

In this hands-on session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the podcast creation process. You’ll leave with a unique and brilliant short pilot episode, the skills to create more, and the confidence to connect with your audience authentically.

Here’s what’s in store:

1. Finding Your Story

Learn how to uncover compelling ideas and identify the unique perspective only you can bring to the mic.

2. Scripting and Planning

Master the art of organising your thoughts, structuring your episodes, and creating engaging content.

3. Recording Your Introduction

Get comfortable behind the mic and mixer and practice capturing your voice in a way that feels authentic and impactful.

4. Recording Your Pilot

Put it all together in our professional podcast studio, where you’ll create a high-quality pilot episode you can share or build on.

Why Podcasts?

Audio is a remarkably intimate medium. Through tone, delivery, and timbre, we don’t just hear words, we feel emotion, connection, and authenticity. Whether it’s a friend sharing a story or a guide taking you on a journey, podcasts have the power to make you feel seen and heard.

And unlike traditional media, podcasting gives you creative control. There are no commissioning editors or gatekeepers. It’s your story, your voice, your way.
