In this candid session, aimed at anyone taking those first tentative steps towards putting pen to paper Simon will focus on the importance of nurturing your inner voice and of learning the weird rules of the publishing game. 

Featuring stories of triumph and of terrifying failure from Simon’s often unconventional career, and with plenty of time for audience questions about the curious industry he inhabits where creativity and commerce are often uncomfortable bedfellows.

After 30  years working in some of the biggest agencies in the world, Simon Trewin launched his own boutique agency in 2019 to represent authors, brands and entrepreneurs in the areas of art, culture, digital, literature, and live events.
