The western world faces a huge health crisis, caused largely by a diet lacking in fibre. Food champion and chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is on a mission to inspire us to consume more fibre through simple but delicious recipes. His latest, beautifully photographed book, High Fibre Heroes, takes 12 everyday vegetables and creates inspirational, easy recipes.

Hugh will be in conversation with editor Gaby Huddart, who contributes regularly to Good Housekeeping magazine, The Times and The Daily Telegraph.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is a chef, Sunday Times bestselling author, broadcaster and campaigner. His River Cottage series for Channel 4 and campaigning documentaries for BBC 1 earned him a huge following, while his much-loved cookery books have collected multiple awards.  Hugh’s Fish Fight programmes earned him a BAFTA and he has twice been voted Radio 4’s Food Personality of the Year. High Fibre Heroes follows on from Hugh’s bestselling How to Eat 30 Plants a Week. It is endorsed by gut health professor Tim Spector.
