New Year Concert – A Ceremony of Carols

Traditionally, Christmas is a 40 day period of rejoicing, from Christmas Day until 2nd February, Candlemas. In January we mark Epiphany, the time when the wise men from distant lands brought gifts to the baby Jesus in the stable at Bethlehem.

To celebrate this church festival, Abbey Girls’ choir sing Benjamin Britten’s beautiful and challenging work in the magical setting of Bath abbey, accompanied by harp.
