Bath Opera presents Bizet’s Carmen - a fully staged production of one of opera’s most passionate and dramatic tales. Set in sun-drenched Seville, Carmen tells the story of a free-spirited woman whose defiance and desire lead to love, jealousy, and tragedy.

This vibrant new production features a talented cast of professional, emerging, and experienced singers, supported by Bath Opera’s accomplished chorus. The performance is conducted by Francis Faux and directed by Naomi Rose-Mock, with Bath Opera’s orchestra bringing Bizet’s unforgettable music to life.

Sung in English with surtitles. Approx. 2 and 3⁄4 hours including interval.
