MENUHead nutritionist at ZOE, Dr Federica Amati comes to Bath to share her mission to break through confusing medical jargon and deliver actionable advice to improve our health using the most powerful tool we have: our daily food choices.
Do you know that there is no such thing as a ‘superfood’? Have you ever heard of the importance of our first 1,000 days – the period spanning from conception through the first two years of life? And did you know that your choice of a sexual partner is at least partly influenced by your microbes? You heard that right!
Dr Federica explores each life stage, from conception right through to our senior years and delivers clear, targeted nutritional recommendations that allow everybody to have a better insight into what works for them personally.
‘An essential nutrition and lifestyle guide from cradle to grave (or across the lifespan). A fascinating DIY guide to food and health – read it!’ – Professor Tim Spector, doctor, epidemiologist and author of titles including The Diet Myth and Food for Life: Your Guide To the New Science of Eating Well.
Dr Federica Amati PhD MPH RNutr is a medical scientist, researcher and head nutritionist at ZOE where she works alongside Professor Tim Spector. Dr Amati has over a decade of experience working in public health and with individuals to better understand how to harness the power of nutrition for better health, with clients and her students telling her: ‘Everybody should know this!’
