TRANSPORT UPDATE:

Bath will be very busy as the Rotary Firework display takes place 6-6.30pm in the centre of the city, so please allow plenty of time for parking and check whether your journey will be hampered by road closures - you are advised to avoid Pulteney Road, North Parade Road, Great Pulteney Street and areas around the Rec.

There is also a rail strike taking place on Saturday which might add to the amount of road traffic coming into Bath.

Folk supergroup Show of Hands are finally reuniting with formidable folk singer Miranda Sykes to captivate audiences at a long-awaited autumn tour. The trio will perform brand-new tracks, live renditions of their award-winning hits and festival favourites for the first time in five long years.

The opening half of the show will see them playing as duos and soloists. Miranda will feature songs from her lockdown album ‘The Farmhouse Sessions’ while Steve and Phil will perform new material generated over the last two years. During the second set the trio will play a host of anthemic Show of Hands classics plus one or two hitherto unheard surprises.

The UK tour kicks off at the beginning of October and will see the band perform at a variety of unforgettable venues, including the famous Cadogan Hall in London and the Hall for Cornwall.
