The Concert for the People of Bath

The Forum

Celebrate the Forum’s 90th birthday at a concert of blockbuster movie classics with Bath Philharmonia and the Musicians of The Royal Marines School of Music.

An orchestral tour through the decades of some of the most popular film soundtracks performed in Bath’s very own art deco cinema.

Featuring music by the great composers for cinema including Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Ennio Morricone, John Barry and Bernard Hermann and culminating in a symphonic performance of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.

In memory of Brian and Margaret Roper who have helped inspire so many people to discover their own love of orchestral music.
