Bath Phil & Chloë Hanslip
A musical celebration that basks in the warmth of the summer sun. Bath Philharmonia performs an exciting and escalating programme that dances in the sunshine including the Flight of the Bumblebee.
This concert features Chloë Hanslip, one of Britain’s finest violinist performing Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending, the most perfect musical description of the English countryside and Ravel’s fantastical Tzigane, a tribute to the raw passion of Romany fiddlers.
Celebrating with us in this programme are composers Ludvig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Antonin Dvořák, Pietro Mascagni, Maurice Ravel, Martin Riley, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Gioachino Rossini, Ralph Vaughan Williams.
