FilmBath want everyone to be able to watch great films, together. In reaction to the current cost of living crisis, FilmBath are offering a Pay What You Can scheme.

• £25 – I am financially secure, and I have the means and desire to contribute towards making the film festival affordable for others. Choose ticket: Pay What You Can (F)
• £15 (recommended ticket price) - I have access to a regular and disposable income/savings, and I can afford the recommended ticket price. Choose ticket: Pay What You Can (I)
• £10 – I receive or have access to regular income and have access to some disposable income. I would normally select a concession rate. Choose ticket: Pay What You Can (L)
• £5 – I have access to income, but it is low and unstable, and I worry about meeting my basic needs. Choose ticket: Pay What You Can (M)
• £2 – I am unemployed, underemployed, or unable to work and regularly worry about meeting my basic needs. Choose ticket: Pay What You Can (S)

A musical dream in a country on the verge of collapse. The filmmakers spent 10 years following Edixon, Dissandra and Wuilly, three Venezuelan children from the impoverished ‘Las Brisas’ neighbourhood, in their quest to become professional musicians within the ranks of “El Sistema” music program. They are trying to achieve a better future as they face the challenges of the country’s dire situation. It is a story of resistance, resilience and perseverance that explores the power of discipline and classical music as tools for survival. This is the first time the film will be screened in the South West, after its world premiere at Sheffield DocFest in June this year where it was included in the International First Feature Competition.

This film will be preceded by the short film Your Mountain Is Waiting (UK), directed by Hannah Jacobs.
