Belcombe Court

Audiences can bring their own chairs/blankets/tables and are free to picnic within the extensive grounds of Belcombe Court.

We encourage you to travel to our performances on public transport or by foot if possible. There are good public transport links to Bradford On Avon, with Belcombe Court located a 20 minute walk from the centre of the town.

We are in discussion with local firms with the intention of offering a shuttle bus from Bradford on Avon Station to and from Belcombe Court. To register your interest for this service please email [email protected].

HOW TO GET TO BRADFORD ON AVON

BY TRAIN

There are regular trains to and from Bath (change at Bath from Bristol and London) Trowbridge and Westbury.

Bath direction. Travelling by train from Bath takes only 13 minutes, with over 50 direct trains on weekdays and around 45 trains at the weekend. Trains run at roughly 30 minute intervals. The final train from Bradford on Avon leaves just before midnight.

Westbury direction. The journey to and from Westbury takes approximately 14 mins (Trowbridge 6 mins) at roughly 30 minute intervals. The final train from Bradford on Avon leaves just after midnight.

BY BUS

There are regular bus services from Bristol/Bath and Salisbury to Bradford on Avon. Bus services from Bath (D1 and 64), Trowbridge (69 and 96) and Frome (X69). Please check bus timetables for the times of these services.

ON FOOT

Alternatively, if you are attending a daytime performance, Bradford on Avon can also be accessed by foot or by bicycle along the canal footpaths from Bath and Trowbridge. Walking from Bath to Bradford on Avon along the Kennet and Avon canal is approximately 10 miles. The route follows the canal through beautiful British countryside and villages.

BY FOOT

Belcombe Court is just a 20 minute walk from Bradford On Avon town centre. It is a short walk but mainly up hill. There is a taxi service whose office is located just outside of the railway station.

BY TAXI

We recommend pre-booking your taxi with your preferred company or Bradford On Avon Taxi Service: 01225 862277 as it can be busy during our event season.

If leaving by taxi, we recommend using the estimated end time on the specific event page for pick up time.
Please note - performance run times are approximate times only.

BY CAR

Wherever possible we encourage you to leave your cars at home, but if you must drive please consider sharing lifts with friends and family where possible. There is parking available opposite the main entrance to Belcombe Court. The parking is managed by our team of stewards and crew and will be well lit. Please note that you will be parking on a field so the ground will be uneven. If you, or any of your party are bringing a wheelchair, require accessible parking or have any mobility issues, please inform the box-office at the time of booking.
