We encourage you to travel to our performances on public transport or by foot if possible. There are good public transport links to Bradford On Avon, with Belcombe Court and the Wiltshire Music Centre located a 20 minute walk from the centre of the town.

HOW TO GET TO BRADFORD ON AVON

BY TRAIN

There are regular trains to and from Bath (change at Bath from Bristol and London) Trowbridge and Westbury.

Bath direction. Travelling by train from Bath takes only 13 minutes, with over 50 direct trains on weekdays and around 45 trains at the weekend. Trains run at roughly 30 minute intervals. The final train from Bradford on Avon leaves just before midnight.

Westbury direction. The journey to and from Westbury takes approximately 14 mins (Trowbridge 6 mins) at roughly 30 minute intervals. The final train from Bradford on Avon leaves just after midnight.

BY BUS

There are regular bus services from Bristol/Bath and Salisbury to Bradford on Avon. Bus services from Bath (D1 and 64), Trowbridge (69 and 96) and Frome (X69). Please check bus timetables for the times of these services.

ON FOOT

Alternatively, if you are attending a daytime performance, Bradford on Avon can also be accessed by foot or by bicycle along the canal footpaths from Bath and Trowbridge. Walking from Bath to Bradford on Avon along the Kennet and Avon canal is approximately 10 miles. The route follows the canal through beautiful British countryside and villages.

ON FOOT - Wiltshire Music Centre is on the Bath side of Bradford on Avon. It is a 20 minute walk from the railway station about half of which is up hill. It should be accessed from Winsley Road via Churches. There is a taxi service whose office is located just outside of the railway station

BY CAR - The Centre is located on the Bath side of Bradford on Avon and is sign-posted throughout the town on brown tourist destination signs. We have free on-site parking across two car parks. One is located just next to the Centre off Churches on Winsley Road and is open in the day and evening, with disabled spaces for blue badge holders. This car park is fully accessible and level with the Centre with no steps to access the building.

When parking in public areas, please park responsibly.

BY TRAIN - Bradford on Avon Rail Station is a 20-minute walk (uphill to the Centre) or a short taxi ride away. Taxis are available in front of the station. 

BY BUS - The D1 bus service travels between Bath and Salisbury, via Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury and Warminster. Ask for the 'Churches' stop on Winsley Road. From this stop, walk up 'Churches' until you see a brown sign pointing you in the right direction. 

BY BIKE - A bike rack is located in the car park off Winsley Road. Please note that there are limited spaces.
