MENULegendary journalist Lynn Barber details the weird and wonderful stories from her fascinating career in A Little Art Education, going from a self-proclaimed art outsider to interviewing and being close friends with the likes of Salvador DalÃ, David Hockney, Tracey Emin, Grayson Perry and more.
Lynn Barber was born in 1944 and studied English at the University of Oxford. She began her career in journalism at Penthouse and has since worked for a number of major British newspapers, as well as for Vanity Fair.
She has won five British Press Awards and has published two volumes of her celebrated interviews, Mostly Men (1991) and Demon Barber (1998).
An Education (2009), Lynn Barber’s memoir about her schoolgirl affair with a con man, was made into an Oscar-nominated film in 2009, with a screenplay by Nick Hornby and starring Carey Mulligan.
A Curious Career, published in 2014, continues the story of her life as a journalist and interviewer.
