Music, wine and conversation with visiting world class organists playing the world famous Klais organ in the glorious acoustic of Bath Abbey.
Two themes combine – the Ascension and a Royal Jubilee.
Celebrating royal composers Handel, Elgar and current Master of the Queen’s Music, Judith Weir.
Music includes Elgar’s Sonata in four movements and Messiaen’s suite, L’Ascension.
Meet the organist and chat over a glass of wine. Live screening to observe up close play of four keyboards, control of pipes and fancy footwork!
