MF9 The Teyber Trio
Three gifted young instrumentalists
Assembly Rooms
MENUThree gifted young instrumentalists (and all Tims!) have come together to form a new trio that takes its name from the great 18th century Austrian organist, Kapellmeister and prolific composer, Anton Teyber.
They will open their concert with Kodaly’s single movement Intermezzo, with its authentic Hungarian folk-tunes. Then to Mozart’s masterwork, the Divertimento in E flat. Written in 1788, this work was premiered in Dresden in April 1789 with Anton Teyber playing violin, Mozart on viola and Antonin Kraft taking the cello part.
