REFRESHMENTS / FOOD & DRINK
- Drinks will be available to purchase from the pop-up Rustic Bar at all events
- The audience is invited to bring their own picnics and drinks as NO FOOD is available to purchase at any of the If Opera events at Belcombe Court
- Ice creams will be available to purchase from Garbanzo’s ice cream cart on Sunday 25 August for the Little Red Riding Hood productions
- Certain members/patrons have will access to the Belcombe Room, a private bar for supporters (opera only)
WEATHER
- 2024 performances at Belcombe Court will take place in a closed (fully covered) Saddlespan structure.
- Events will go ahead in the rain, however if the weather is torrential, If Opera reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event. Bookers are asked to keep an eye on the website for updates: ifopera.com
DRESS CODE
- Informality is a feature of If Opera, there is no dress code, and eveningwear is not common. Most people choose to dress smart/casual.
- Evenings can get chilly once the sun goes down so it is advisable to bring warm clothing for the end of the night.
- The gardens landscape is uneven and thought should be given to adequate footwear – heels are not recommended!
LIMITATIONS
- Children: See suitability details for each event
- Dogs: No dogs permitted except for assistance dogs
- Candles & Flares: Guests are welcome to bring ENCLOSED lighting rather than open flares. Once the sun has gone down there are certain parts of the garden that are difficult to light, torches are advised.
- Recording: No photography, video or audio recording is permitted within the Saddlespan enclosure.
- Mobile Phones: To be switched off during performances
- Rubbish: Guests must take all of their rubbish with them when they leave
